We're happy to share that cross-chain transactions between TON and TAC are now available again. The patched sequencer software has been independently reviewed by our auditor and TON ecosystem partners and we can resume operations with complete confidence. TAC CCL is now safer than ever. All missing funds in USDT, BLUM, and tsTON have been restored. Users can use TAC-powered products (DeFi Wallet vaults, Acid ID staking feature, and others) as before. Affected users expecting transactions on TON in BLUM or USDT will receive their funds automatically - no action is required from their side. ❗️Important Notice: As part of the relaunch, a necessary step resulted in some users receiving more tokens than expected. More details to follow in a post later today. Thank you for your support, patience and trust.

yet another SCAM letter to my house after the @Ledger userbase data breach. this is the 4th one I receive, and every time I get chills 🥶 funniest thing? this one probably got stuck at the post office for ~10 months (see the sept ‘25 deadline) and just got to my house now!

Resilience. This was a very intense week for the team, but this is not the end, many things still to be done. Commitment. Impressed by the solidarity of the @ton_blockchain ecosystem. Yeah, TON Foundation nowhere to be found, but (as ever), ecosystems are made by teams, and most of them, including those not directly involved with TAC, showed up offering support. TON United. Detailed post mortem soon.
We're happy to announce that ~90% of the funds from the May 12th security incident have been recovered. The attacker decided to return the funds that were sitting across Ethereum, TON, TAC, BSC and Zcash, and retained the 10% as a bounty. We are happy to confirm that the unbalance on the cross-chain layer will be completely fixed. A detailed update and full post-mortem will follow in the coming days. Big thanks to @SEAL_911, our security partners, the @ton_blockchain community and to every partner team that stood with us.

This is an official representative of Ton Foundation... Once again, no words about native DeFi on TON, no words about @TacBuild or all the bluechip protcols we brought from the evm world like Morpho, Euler, Curve, Carbon, Pendle or native Ve3.3 Dexes like Snap. Directly available to telegram users via every Ton Wallets. I hope Pavel will stop asap this stupid attitude of TF vocal people that just push friends and friends of friends and that made 90% of ton developers to leave this ecosystem and almost die... and maybe improve a bit the focus on long term use cases like DeFi and Payments rather than just following the next trend without accruing any long term ecosystem value in between.
Telegram & Pavel Durov are taking over TON Blockchain as the main driving force and becoming a major validator on the Network. Telegram has 1 Billion monthly users — 1B Carl!!! Here’s How to start on TON Blockchain, where to trade, what DEX’es & Wallets to use — full guide 🧵

This is one of the only sustainable flywheels being tried in crypto >user deposits 50 USDT into a vault to get perks in the game >user can take it out anytime >devs earn yield via the safest protocols (4%) >1m players deposit 50 USDT >devs earning 4% on that
Today we’re putting one of TAC’s core theses into a live test mode. The idea: Telegram Mini Apps can generate revenue without users spending directly - through user-owned deposits routed into infrastructure-level DeFi strategies. Users connect a TON wallet, deposit, and unlock real in-game utility. Over the classical pay2win and pay2play, this is 'free' subscriptions, or stake2win. Funds stay user-owned and withdrawable. Yield powers app-side revenue under the hood, with @LucidlyFI as the yield infrastructure partner. A new monetization rail for Mini Apps. More onchain activity on @ton_blockchain. Real utility for users without direct spend. Retails (millions) come for the game, the channel, whatever. DeFi yield pay the developers bills. Win win for all. Huge thanks to Acid Labs, the top grossing Telegram Miniapp, for being the first to run this experiment with us, and to @LucidlyFI for powering the yield layer.

We’ve been building with Acid Labs - creators of one of the top-grossing Telegram Mini App - @BoinkersIO and @LucidlyFi on something that has never existed in Telegram and @ton_blockchain in this form before. This can unlock huge potential for how Mini App developers engage and monetize. A big TAC announcement is coming soon.

this one is brutally true
ok, now that we opened the pandora box, can we just get the signatures to recover whatever is left on @arbitrum from the @ApertureFinance hack or the multiple M$ from several phishing victims? or they need to open a formal litigation and get authorities to force the security council hands? to be clear: i'm not against what has been done here today. if you can, you better use it (we did the same on Linea back then and we were crushed by everyone). if you can and you don't you're def part of the problem. but now the curtain is fallen. L2s does not solve scalability trilemma: sacrifice trustlessness for scalability. it's not even a matter of L1 finality here... hopefully this will bring big relevance to native rollups.

Personal story about the rsETH hack. DevCon Bangkok, 2025. while waiting for the famous session by Justin Drake i met Jeff from @axelar and we started chatting about my past experience on Linea. Always fan of their approach, the way axelar was managing the Linea nodes for validation and the pressure they were putting on the team to implement the 'finality flag' was impressive to me. Our tech team was like 'it's super difficult to implement this properly without trusting the sequencer, and we have other priorities on the prover and the constraints', but they were there pinging us every week almost. Many colleagues were like 'this is overengineered'. It was not. We started chatting about this, i share my compliments to the team because of their security first approach but we started talking about the differences between zk rollups and optimistic rollups. my point was that zk were superior because of fast finality (24hours at that time) vs optimistic and he kept pushing me on the fact that this was not true. @DeclanFox14 joined us on the chat and both of us were not able to convince him about the opposite. His arguments were super on point: if you have a reorg or a forged tx, we (axelar node operators) catch it because we run multiple L2 nodes, so we don't need to wait for the finality on the L1, we just look at the quorum of our own nodes and op stack can't reorg by nature. The paradox was that, in their eyes, the security model of optimistic rollup was exactly the same of zk rollups if not better (as not having the finality tag, bridge operations were delayed by 24/32 hrs or fully trusting the sequencer). both me and Declan were like 'hmmm we can only agree to disagree here'. Then the room's door opened and our short debate ended. looking at that convo now, this hack is a proof that me and Declan were totally right. thack would not have been possible if the DVN had waited for L1 finality, which is not viable for optimistic rollup because of the 7days challenge period. Today the landscape is evolved a lot: zkVMs, fast and cheap provers, mega blobs. You could have zk L2s finalizing every hour on L1s without issues, economically viable. There is no excuse to keep treating the same way optimistic rollup and zk rollup. This hack demonstrated that finality is still king. I think everyone should include finality in their risk assessments (with direct monetary consequences for TVL and yields) and optimistic rollups should become zk rollups or pay a big tax in term of UX (or TVL/yield). Of course, nobody is talking about this as there is no real incentive for L2 operators. Also, this will not fix the main crypto issue: there are no users anymore.

as far as I know, from the time in the company, this guy was not the lead at Metamask Portfolio. but definitely, this was a huge issue among people working in Metamask: not being obsessed with the product they were building led to the current Rabby dominancy
This is sad: 2.9 years at MetaMask as the Lead of the Portfolio. I used the product 2-3 times. 11 months on @Solana, i use it daily and for everything.

Introducing aWETH Redemption Protocol With ETH utilization at 100% on Aave, many lenders are currently unable to withdraw and face increasing risk if markets move. aWETH Redemption Protocol allows ETH lenders to: • Exit into wstETH or weETH • Regain immediate liquidity • Reduce exposure to liquidation risk If you’re just lending ETH — you can fully exit. If you have ETH collateral and another debt — your collateral is seamlessly swapped into wstETH or weETH while your debt remains the same. We’re working alongside @LidoFinance , @ether_fi, @0xProject, @1inch, @KyberNetwork, and other ecosystem partners to: • Reduce systemic risk in DeFi • Ease utilization pressure • Support a healthier DeFi market Our goal is simple: protect users while reinforcing the foundations of DeFi. Capacity is initially limited to $1B in ETH. fluid.io/lite/aave-v3/eth-sw…

I would like to make a proposal. The hackers are currently sitting on Ethereum and Arbitrum. They will use a number of "DeFi" things that have a number of single-points-of-failure. Identify those single points of failure RIGHT NOW. Use them to intercept these funds and rug DPRK and get this fucking money back. Literally EVERY. SINGLE. THING. they use has single points of failure. I guarantee it. 100% confidence. If you think otherwise you are in denial, stupid, need to get more creative, need to red team harder. I don't want to hear your fucking excuses. Teams should do this right now. And then they should fully eliminate those single points so that they can't be used to steal money from anyone ever again. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The future of DeFi is not single nodes or single signer setups. What we’re experiencing now is a lack of better security practices, which doesn’t matter 364 of 365 days of the year, until it does matter. A lot. In this particular incident, you have basic security mismanagement that has been confirmed by sources close to the matter: 1.) It was an official LayerZero DVN that was attacked with very poor security practices. 2.) Applying these practices to a 1/1 DVN under centralized internal control which was exploited. There was centralization risk on the amount of nodes (in this case, just one) and likely the way the DVNs were accessing the chain (through one or two RPCs). Kelp relied solely on the LayerZero DVN. This is extremely irresponsible from a team with $1.5B in user funds under management. Unacceptable. There are dozens more single DVNs out there that are still running with the same setup. For the 2/2 or 2/3 DVNs, its unknown how many of these are controlled by LZ themselves Security researchers who have done diligence onchain close to this matter suggest that LayerZero runs a lot of these DVNs themselves. The official LZ DVN is setup as a 2/3 but all ran internally. So in the KelpDAO exploit, you had a single entity attack vector: LZ themselves. There is a pattern of behavior that creates risk across all of the entire DeFi system, not just the LZ system. It’s all the tokenholders, issuers, and lending protocols that are now suffering from the design choices. We've seen it time and time again. These risks are completely unacceptable in bigger financial markets onchain and really sets us back in terms of adoption. It also sets us back entirely as an industry built on the "don't trust, verify" mentality. Misrepresentation of what your infrastructure is thus creating a massive web of risk around single node, single signer architectures across all of DeFi is a massive blow to what everyone is trying to achieve here. We can do better. People need to be more informed about the risks they are taking. We need to be more rigorous about what we're calling decentralized. Risk frameworks are coming to DeFi. Something has to change.
