A big part of becoming a healthy, well adjusted man is sleeping with a promiscuous woman and realizing you’re not the best she’s had

We’d fix a lot of the issues with public schools if we’d just let the teachers hit the kids again
Throwing more money at public schools, even doubling teacher salaries, has virtually no effect on student outcomes.

listen up, we have to vote for the man with the nazi tattoo so he can stop the man landing rockets and curing the blind from making any more money, otherwise we’ll get fascism you see how stupid you sound, yes?

My husband just told our son, who was picking on his little sister, "it is your job as a future man to listen and respect people's boundaries. You will often be bigger than others and it is unkind to use your size against them. She said stop. You will stop." I've never heard another man, at least in my family, say anything like that I hope we raise good humans.

ten minutes into a little kid crying because angels have wings. “i don’t want the angel to have wings”. sorry man, i was not involved with that. “take them off”. i absolutely cannot. told him some people view them as symbolic or metaphorical. didn’t help.

The child-free wedding trend popular among millennials and gen z-ers is the perfect example of their extended childhood behavior. The “it’s my big day” sentiment. You’re actually not supposed to feel that way as an adult. Not once did my inner-monologue spew the phrase “my big day” while planning my wedding. Embarrassing. As an adult you should actually be thinking about bringing joy to everyone else, and you should *especially* be thinking about bringing joy to children.

“settling down”, as a euphemism for getting married and having kids may be the most inaccurate colloquialism of all time. i used to smoke on the couch for multiple hours a day. i was settled down. i was the maximum level of “settled down” a man can be without being in a coma.

Convinced a lot of this gentle parenting stuff works great for girls and very poorly for (some) boys, and that having the spare bandwidth to participate in research selects heavily for the compliant girls/boys
