Carbon footprint associated with a single sporting event in USA. Wild. 81 of the 525 private planes flew to LA, an hour away. If they had to fly at all, they probably could have all fit into ONE plane! Unbelievable that this outsized carbon overdraft isn’t regulated.

Most nights I watch this Heron fishing way into the night, past 11pm, made possible by the street lights that pool on the river bed and illuminate what should be sleeping shoals of life. Light pollution is changing the behaviour of our natural world forever 💡
