Dear those who have supported us, Greenland has never been under as much pressure from a U.S. president as it is now. We have all believed that the U.S. is our closest ally, but since Trump became president, the U.S. has shown the exact opposite. Trump and his vice president are now engaging in psychological warfare against the Greenlandic people. I have personally met some Greenlandic citizens who are genuinely afraid that Trump might attempt to take over Greenland. Greenland is not threatened by any other nation except from USA. It will be a long four years. However, we must stand together. We must stand together in this difficult time. Our outcry has had an effect. The Second Lady of the U.S. and her entourage have canceled their “tourist visit” to Nuuk and Sisimiut.
