Brigham Young was a good man and a Prophet of God.

If Mormons are Christians, why are they busy knocking on Christian's doors and trying to get them to convert to Mormonism? If salvation comes by faith in Jesus alone like Scripture says, why do we need to become part of the Mormon church to be saved?

How can anyone believe God would just stop calling apostles and prophets? If He led His Church anciently, why not now? I believe He continues to call apostles and prophets.

Mormons are still racist as heck. Not a single Mormon will correct, rebuke or unfollow this loser. It perfectly represents the racism that still permeates Mormonism as it’s tolerated and embraced but hidden to outsiders.

If your idea of promoting your church, is to attack my church, I’m going to assume that your church sucks. Why not talk about the virtues of your beliefs, instead of tearing down what you think are the inconsistencies/untruths of mine? Yours should be able to win out on its own merits, right?

An LDS 𝕏 post. Over the past few years, I keep encountering a repetitive refrain from many fellow members of the Church. Many of you have a deep, abiding concern that can probably be summarized this way: The Church is slowly being eaten by a cancerous element of niceness/tolerance/progressive messaging. Doctrines are being softly effaced. Prior teachings are being abandoned. The Church is embracing a kind of globalist, liberal ethos and is soft-pedaling any and all of the former "line in the sand" teachings of the recent past. The prophets/apostles are not teaching clear doctrines because many of their messages can be ambiguous or interpreted in conflicting ways. Because of this, it won't be long before the Church has totally drifted off course and becomes no different than any of the other church in the world that have embraced progressive value systems. Gay marriage sealings are just around the corner. Does that accurately reflect the feelings that many of you folks have?

Joseph Smith is a prophet of God means The Book of Mormon is the word of God. The Book of Mormon being the word of God means Joseph Smith is a prophet. I know both of these statements are true independent of one another. I am also grateful to know if 1 is true, so is the other.

As someone who is inactive, essentially left the LDS church, considering a return but would be a long journey back: Really wish there was more prominent apologists that took things head on like Jacob Hanson and Hayden Carrol growing up.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has released national membership statistics. For the first time, total membership in the USA declined over the year, despite an increase in baptisms. I sincerely hope the American church is not starting to 'fail in its progress'!

This is awesome! They act like prudent fund management is bad 😂 I love The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I’m so proud to be a member. We give tithing regardless of our ample funds, it’s a biblical commandment.
