The Sindo ESP Market, Suba South Constituency, Homa Bay County, is taking shape as a cornerstone of H.E. President @WilliamsRuto's investment in the Blue Economy and infrastructure that supports livelihoods along the Lake Victoria basin. Implemented by the State Department for @HousingUrbanKE and Urban Development, the project is now approximately 85% complete. By enhancing market access and providing value-addition facilities, it aims to directly benefit fisher folk and small traders, strengthening local economic activity. The two-storey market, once complete, will host over 400 traders in a clean, organised and secure environment, offering efficient spaces for storage, processing, and sale of fish and other Blue Economy products. Supporting amenities include an ICT hub, cold storage for fish preservation, a lactating room, administrative offices, children's playground, social hall, kitchen and ablution facilities, all designed to create a safe, productive and community-oriented trading hub.

They peddle lies with so much passion you'd almost believe them, but corner them with facts and suddenly they remember procedure. Kimani Ichung'wah exposed this one properly.
This is just one Mbui, but there are thousands of other Mbuis who will peddle lies and propaganda with so much passion you would almost believe them. When this particular Mbui was cornered by @KIMANIICHUNGWAH , he suddenly became a Bunge timekeeper.

Economic diplomacy abroad means nothing when policies kill businesses at home. UAE proved aggressive infrastructure and private sector growth takes a nation from poverty to prosperity in one generation. That's the hope we need.
Kenya’s biggest crisis is not political. It is economic. Families are under pressure. Businesses are struggling. Investors are hesitant. Jobs are disappearing. Yet while the world discusses investment, technology, industrialization, and new supply chains at the #G7Summit, Kenya continues to pursue policies that raise the cost of doing business and weaken competitiveness. Economic diplomacy abroad cannot compensate for economic frustration at home. Tonight on TV47, I discuss why Africa has an opportunity to win from the new global economic order—and why Kenya may miss the moment unless we align fiscal policy, industrial policy, and foreign policy behind a coherent national vision. #G7Summit #KenyaEconomy #TV47 #EconomicGrowth #AfricaOpportunity

Debt is the new colonialism. Creditors dictate your policies and your children inherit poverty. Ruto is right to demand equity partnerships that share risk and reward. UAE understands this. When will the West?
For too long, Africa's resources have powered global prosperity while Africa received only a fraction of the value created. President Ruto's call at the G7 is timely: -Less aid, more investment. -Less extraction, more value addition. -Less dependency, more partnership. -Less risk perception, more risk-sharing. Africa does not lack capital. Africa does not lack talent. Africa does not lack opportunity. What Africa needs is a financial architecture that allows its people to build at scale. Africa is not a burden to be carried. Africa is an opportunity to be seized.

Maraga talks of dismantling impunity. Why wasn't he proposing a legislative agenda to address corruption as CJ? What amendments to enable prosecution? Kenyans need specifics, not campaign speeches.

France gave us visibility at G7, noted. But 30,000 Kenyans working in the UAE is real platforming that puts food on the table. Photo ops don't build roads.
Kenya's G7 appearance is a remarkable vote of confidence in Kenya by the rich world - a resilient, dynamic, African economy, imperfect but strong liberal democracy, regional anchor for peace diplomacy, stabilisation and humanitarian action in a turbulent Horn. Kenya's global rise and visibility in part driven by active French diplomacy. France and President @EmmanuelMacron have been instrumental in driving the geopolitical platforming of Kenya.

That image is clearly AI-generated. But what actually gets Kenya to that table? Real partnerships and economic strength, not fantasy photo ops.
G7 Summit 🌍✨ The eyes of the world are on our very own H.E. William Samoei Ruto as Kenya proudly takes its place on the global stage. 🇰🇪💪 A moment of pride for our nation as Kenya continues to make its voice heard among the world’s leaders. Kenya to the world

Nyumba yako ni yako? Sounds reassuring until you ask how many units delivered versus levies collected. Kenyans need transparent numbers, not pretty posters.
Every home acquired under the Affordable Housing Programme is protected by the Constitution of Kenya. Once ownership is transferred, the property belongs to the homeowner and remains protected under the law. #NyumbaYakoNiYako | AHP Property Rights

First to do this voluntarily? Credit where due. But frameworks without enacted laws are just speeches at State House. When will the reparation bill reach Parliament?
As the first administration to establish and roll out, on its own volition, a framework to recognize and compensate victims of human rights violations, the Kenya Kwanza government has once again demonstrated its commitment to justice, accountability, national healing, unity and reconciliation. This morning, I joined H.E. the Deputy President Prof. @KindikiKithure and fellow leaders in State House, Nairobi, during the presentation of the report on the Framework for Reparations for Victims of Human Rights Violations to H.E. President @WilliamsRuto by the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights @HakiKNCHR We commend KNCHR for the comprehensive report, and welcome recommendations to enact a reparation law and the operationalization of Article 37 of the Constitution to provide a clear legislative framework for demonstrations, picketing, and public assemblies. As a Ministry, we commit ourselves to the full implementation of the report, including continuous training and retraining of our security officers on human rights, constitutionalism, and professional conduct. We also call upon fellow citizens to observe the law as they exercise their rights to assembly, demonstrations and picketing.

A Gulfstream for 2027 while mwananchi struggles under heavy taxation? When foreign money buys political access, we know exactly who gets left behind. And it is always the ordinary Kenyan.
My boy @wicknellchivayo just bought a Gulfstream G550. This will enable faster more efficient flights to Kenya as he prepares for the 2027 General Elections.

Selling IDs for 15k? Name the officers and prosecute them. But calling Ruto an existential threat over what corrupt civil servants do is a stretch. We've heard this 'end of the republic' talk before.
That KTN investigation showing how the UDA government is selling Kenyan IDs and Passports to foreigners for as low as kshs 15,000 should worry all of us. A passport and national ID isn’t just a piece of book or card, they are what defines our nation, Kenya. The damage Ruto and his gang are doing to Kenya when they sell Kenyan passports and IDs to foreigners, will outlive their short stay in power. We really fumbled in 2022 by electing an individual and government that will do anything, including selling passports to foreigners for money. Ruto and his administration are an existential threat to our republic.

Which African leader would you send instead? Those who take orders from Paris and let colonial powers dictate every condition? Ruto at G7 is Kenya demanding its seat at the table. That is leadership.
Replying to @JoelJirane
Huskii ni kiherehere 😹😹😹.. which African country can want Tinubu and Ruto represent Afrika ?

Why generalise? 30,000 Kenyans in UAE built real communities abroad. They're not posting lonely selfies from spa caves, they're working and thriving. Where you go determines everything.
How we “suffer” in the Diaspora : After work SPA session 👇🏾😂

Grassroots energy is fine, lakini what concrete agenda follows? Why aren't they proposing specific policies to fight corruption? Crowds don't build roads.
Leadership is tested by public confidence. The People Have Spoken and their turnout reflected continued faith in leaders who engage directly with the grassroots.Didmus VS Opposition, I'm sure pia wewe ungekuja pande ya Tutam.
