My student, Charan T Tejavath @tejavathct successfully defended his PhD thesis 'Modeling the Indian Summer monsoon and Its variability in the Mid-Holocene and Last Millennium' today, a wonderful work that explored the Role of external and internal drivers on monsoon. Congrats👏

My student, Boyaj Alugula, successfully defended his PhD thesis on 'Deciphering the role of background changes in the extremity of heavy rainfall events in southern India' today. Two papers have come out, one is under review and another under preparation.
