Increases focus, attention and memory (like caffeine)
Decreases stress and anxiety
Your claim that nicotine puts people "on edge" is logically equivalent to claiming coffee causes fatigue.

Show me one peer-reviewed case study of a patient who developed "popcorn lung" from vaping nicotine over the past two decades of use in the USA. 21 million adults vape nicotine now, so if this was a thing, there would be cases.
