Volunteering as a rules official at a junior tournament is very satisfying. First, you really feel like you’re “giving back” to the game - the reason why I became a rules official Second, the golf is a touch more unpredictable and the rules knowledge almost non existent. Lots of rulings to be made!! Here are a few made in a tournament last Sunday…🧵

Okay #golfchat where should I play in here(ish)... say, within 90 minutes of White Plains. As always, not necessarily looking for elite places I know about, but cool, interesting places that might not be as commonly known worth checking out. I've got a couple days with nothing but time (and golf clubs) on my hands and I want to fill 'em up!

This is insane. I was there in St Andrews 2 days ago golfing in the sun. Today I was just across the water playing golf and it was a wonderful weather day. Yet every golfer in St Andrews had their day ruined. Some lost their Old Course chance!

I haven't been on a golf course in like 71 and a half hours... how do people live like this??!??!?!?

The whole city of LA is now a golf course and should be taxed $4 per square foot
