DEVELOPING — Talks resume AFTER working dinner:
Al Jazeera reporting negotiations in Pakistan are back on after dinner break. Both delegations met with PM Shehbaz Sharif before resuming.
131K now listening live on the Nawfal X Space.
Here's what the dinner break tells us:
Working dinners in diplomacy aren't social. They're where the real conversations happen — away from cameras, without formal positions on the table.
The fact that BOTH delegations — Iranian and American — met separately with Pakistan's PM before resuming means Islamabad is actively shuttling positions, testing red lines, and narrowing gaps.
This is classic mediation structure:
→ Joint session (formal positions)
→ Separate meetings with mediator (real positions)
→ Working dinner (relationship building)
→ Resume with narrowed differences
We're now deep into the most productive phase of any negotiation — the one that happens when the suits come off and the real deal-making begins.
If they're still talking past midnight Islamabad time, that's a very good sign.
