Now the prospect is soon to become a reality, it's time to share the news that I was awarded a @wellcometrust and @royalsociety Sir Henry Dale fellowship to start my lab at @BristolBiochem. Huge thanks again to the very many people that supported me. Exciting times ahead! 🥳😁
So happy to see our paper out @MolecularCell; please take a look! When we started this work, we couldn't have predicted that rhomboids could sense conformational changes in membrane proteins. Is this the tip of the iceberg? 👀 authors.elsevier.com/sd/arti…
Check out a new and exciting finding from our lab and collaborators on a new substrate for a rhomboid protease! @adam_grieve@lucreziazarcone@mjafreeman in the @Dunn_School found that RHBDL2 cleaves the calcium channel protein Orai1 to control immunological signalling.
We are very pleased that our commitment to sustainability has been recognised with a @LEAFinLabs award! Many thanks to @Saroj_Saurya and @Dunn_GoGreen for being our inspiration and catalysing better practice in the @Dunn_School!
Postdoc opportunity #2! This one's with me and Jack Sunter, a really cool project combining forward and reverse genetics, great for someone interested in sequencing and parasite cell biology. Apply here: my.corehr.com/pls/oburecruit… Please RT/share
Many congratulations to all the winners at today's Graduate Student Symposium! 🏅🏅🏅
