Igor Thiago looked way out of his depth last night for Brazil. I understand the interest Spurs have in him and there’s a real lack of good strikers about at the moment but I worry he is a classic one season wonder at Brentford. He’s poor technically as well , I’m just not sure..

Is there just a real lack of top quality strikers in world football now? It’s hard to name maybe more than 3 or 4. I’m not sure what’s happened these last 10 years…

England have very good depth in their squad but the striker department is a concern long term. They've not got a single outright striker under 30 at the World Cup. Who's coming through for future tournaments.
