I'm Boris and I created Claude Code. Lots of people have asked how I use Claude Code, so I wanted to show off my setup a bit. My setup might be surprisingly vanilla! Claude Code works great out of the box, so I personally don't customize it much. There is no one correct way to use Claude Code: we intentionally build it in a way that you can use it, customize it, and hack it however you like. Each person on the Claude Code team uses it very differently. So, here goes.

Met with the CFO of a multi-billion dollar tech startup this weekend. He told me every smart CFO he knows is cutting office space to reduce burn instead of firing employees. Pretty simple choice IMO:

@netanyahu

No #remotework guide should ever start by suggesting daily stand-up meetings. As much as we love each other at @doist that would be absolute torture and not to mention logistically impossible due to timezones. #facepalm

In-order for Remote-Work to work, organizations need to inspect and adapt their processes, management style, communication, and even hiring profile. Transform #WFH to #REMOTEWORK or be at risk of finishing like Yahoo@2013 - wsj.com/articles/the-shift-t…

Before COVID-19: i was born in cities, always lived in cities, will always live in cities. After COVID-19: i think we should move to the country side. It seems beautiful and very relaxing. I want a big garden at least.🤔 I had discussions like this with several friends by now.

Remote work starts out fun, then instantly turns into the hunger games once you and your spouse have conflicting video calls and only one "professional" space.

“The Bay Area is a bloodbath when it comes to talent", Armon Dadgar, co-founder @HashiCorp, cnb.cx/2UyyZaK. The ability to hire and retain great talent increases when moving outside of SF and then it drastically increases once you #goremote - #remotework

#remoteworkers, be warned, there are dangers in #remotework...! After a week of rain and ridiculously low temperatures, it was a beautiful sunny day today, so I went out to work from the backyard -- My face is all red, with silly sunglasses marks :)

Another piece in the puzzle of hiring and running high-performing remote-teams. Dissecting the "manager of one" into its discrete personality traits.
Based on previous #research, we know certain #competencies are key for successful #remoteworking. Do #personality #traits have a bearing on similar success? That’s the question @IanSMacRae and I asked in our latest research. Check out what we learned. lnkd.in/e2xemM7
