Thank you both for sharing them during Boston’s first @Techweek_. I am sure they inspired current and future founders in the room.
It was nice to be back on stage with my friend @bhalligan. It's been many years since we did a fireside together.
The fact that it was at HubSpot HQ made it even better.

In supporting and advising many female founders, they are often overlooked and underfunded. We need more VC firms to commit to female-led startups.
Why the Women’s Fund? Why now?
Female-founded startups tend to be more capital efficient, generate more revenue per dollar raised, and reach liquidity faster — often at lower entry valuations.

Hey Kevin, reporter here. You seem kind of surprised by our newsroom’s ability to do this kind of reporting, so let me educate you. We’ve broken serious stories before (Sunny Naqvi, Mahendra Patel, Sonny Baradia.) I’ve personally been an award-winning reporter for over a decade, and was also one of the youngest editors at Scientific American. And print isn’t my only medium. I ran podcasts and have awards for original documentary, too. Before that, I was at Mashable, where my original reporting on revenge porn helped convict a guy. I’m a Columbia alum.
Oh and my editor, the founder? Valedictorian at Stuyvesant. Baker scholar at Harvard Business School. Double Econ and South Asian studies magna cum laude at Yale.
So yeah, how did two brown women beat the entire media establishment?
Women of color, btw, statistically made up about 5% of legacy media. Do you know how exceptional we have to be to even make it?

Very true. There are many experienced professionals in my AI groups and retired people who.I've met that have great AI literacy.
I believe a 60 year old who masters AI tools will outperform a 25 year old who refuses to touch it. Age is not the variable. Willingness is.
