Some updates are worth sharing I must say. So, today was the presentation for Group 3 Capstone Project @TechCrushHQ. In spite of hitches here and there from the General Team Lead(a PM), I came up to do my best. And I did. One funny but not so funny thing happened. While I was presenting, my mouse stopped working, my keyboard, my headphone. They all started working after the presentation. It was.... But nevertheless, it is done! And I know what I achieved so far. I'm a much better version of myself, I tell you. On a lighter note. My face is going viral! Check out my presentation screen. 💚😂. In case you are wondering... Day 9 Prompt: What's my tech superpower? It's not basically the tools I use, neither is it the certificates I have. It's in showing up, even when I don't feel like it. It's learning beyond what's taught. Exploring beyond the assignments given. Staying curious in the midst of a lot. Every project, every challenge, every mistake becomes a lesson for me. I have made quite a lot. But I don't stay down, I pick myself up and move on, hoping for the best. "If I could start again…" I wouldn't stress so much about making every early project a masterpiece (I and my meticulousness). Instead, I’d lean harder into trusting the process. Documenting the messy drafts, the iterations, and the failures, because that is exactly where the real growth happens. Looking back, I poured my absolute best into this journey, staying consistent even amidst the trials, tight schedules, and late-night doubts. To anyone just starting their design program or scholarship: Keep showing up for the process, not just the pixel-perfect results. Day 2 prompt: "Tell us about the excitement you had when you got the scholarship". @TechCrushHQ When I found out I got my UI/UX scholarship, I didn't celebrate. No jumping around, no exciting posts. ​Honestly? I was overwhelmed. Between a packed schedule and zero time, my first instinct was to walk away before I even started. I though about turning it down, really. ​But I took a breath, chose to push through, and leaned in anyway, promising myself to take hold of the opportunity presented to me, to grow beyond how I was. Looking back now? It was, in fact, one of the best decisions I made. ​If you're on the fence about a new challenge because of "perfect timing", there isn't any to be honest. Just start.
