27 day human RCT compares caloric restriction to isocaloric protein restriction:
- Weight loss: 8% CR, 6.6% PR
- But the CR group reduced their TDEE dramatically, whereas the PR group did not.
=> CICO is false, fat loss with w/ CR will tank your metabolism, fat loss w/ PR will not.
This matches my personal experience. People who say "all weight loss will reduce your TDEE" are wrong.

We'll be fine, just like every other time this has happened. The price for power will shoot up and gas peakers will come online to compensate for the lack of wind and solar. Either that or the wind will defy expectations.
