This dismal Tory MP is the epitome of the true reason for the malaise of this country.
A thick (and my, they are thick) layer of indistinguishable upper middle class mediocrities. Tory, Labour, Lib Dem, impossible to tell apart.
Nokes is especially contemptible for her moronic swerve to *any* opinion in the current ‘progressive’ Sky bundle. ‘Some people are born in the wrong body’ she confidently told Laura Kuennsberg last year. ‘Why on earth would we *want* to (know someone’s sex)?’ she bleated on the Today programme in December 2021.
This is the Chair of the Women and Equalities Select Committee, remember. Who apparently can’t think of any circumstances when it would be important to know a person’s sex.
She has spoken regularly about the sexual harassment, unwanted advances she’s received, etc. But the simple fact that men do not - for how could they? - magically lose their potential for sexual violence when they declare themselves to be women? It does not register with this vocal ‘ally’.
The first scenario of male threat potential can be spoken of in the correct circles, you accrue points for doing so; the second is forbidden and must-not-be-named.
And now here she goes, off again, parroting The Line - demanding the closure of the *only* British broadcaster that has given airtime to sex realists, and to lesbians and gay men fighting genderism. ITV, Channel 4 and the BBC regularly broadcast unhinged and offensive material - but then, they’re the right sort, our kind of people, don’t you know.
Perhaps she really is stupid enough to think that these pronouncements might win votes from people who wouldn’t vote for the Conservative Party if their lives depended upon it? There’s obviously not much going on upstairs but a craving for social status and a liking for a little grandness.
It isn’t immigrants, or the poor, or the rich, or the Alphabetians, or loudmouth shock jocks, or the socialists or the capitalists or the whateverists that really deserve our contempt. It’s people like this.
"I think it should be taken off air"
