So proud of our medical education fellows, Drs. Yasmin Moftakhar, @emilykcraft, & @MLMullins59 for crushing the poster competition at #ACEPTF & being selected to present their work to the group. The future of #MedEd is bright in #Believeland! #CLErising

Courtesy of Dr. Molly Estes at #aceptf: How many interviews do our poor #Medstudent have to do? By the data, a 90% match rate occurs at 9 interviews, so the old paradigm of 10-11 remains true. Trim your interviews down! #MedEd

Today’s on-shift teaching points were on the effectiveness of olanzapine vs haloperidol vs droperidol for acute agitated delirium and aromatherapy for nausea. Of course, they were given in #postitpearls format on a “K” card - @EMIMeducator’s idea from #ACEPTF #MedEd #FOAMed

One of my favorite tools I picked up from #ACEPTF was the Jamboard (thanks @alvarezzzy!). We use this to anonymously ask questions on the topic before we begin, and make sure we answer them by the end of the session 3/n

Thanks to @alvarezzzy for the guidance and wisdom last week at @ACEPNow @CORD_EM #ACEPTF - feeling a little burnt out given current events, but we’re all leaning on each other for support and practicing resiliency (as best we can) to serve our patients #GetVaccinatedNow

Day 3. Learning from the best @ Resident #acepTF

Learning how to learn, teach, & give feedback at the Resident #ACEPTF this weekend & realizing this is something much neglected in our education as physicians! Very privileged to hear @clshenvi speak this weekend after rotating several years ago at @UNCEM as a SubI!
So excited to hear the very talented Dr @clshenvi at the Resident #ACEPTF ! Stay tuned for some pearls!

Home from #ACEPTF learned a lot. Got a bunch of ideas. But most importantly had a lot of fun. Cuz that’s the point of teaching right?
