My newly launched audiobook, Brokenness Becomes Beautiful, will be featured at the 2026 American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference from 25 to 29 June in Chicago, at the Printed Word Reviews Booth #4722.
A voice once affected by stroke and aphasia now returns through AI.
I am deeply grateful to share that my new poetry audiobook, Brokenness Becomes Beautiful, was created using AI voice-cloning technology to reclaim my original voice.
To the best of my knowledge, this may be the first audiobook of its kind in the world by a stroke survivor and author with aphasia using his own AI-cloned voice.
This project is more than an audiobook. It is about identity, dignity, communication, and showing that even after stroke and aphasia, our voices and stories still matter.
