The homerun derby won’t be the same this season without Alonso. That’s like Bonnie Blue not showing up to spring break. Joey Chestnut bailing on a hot dog eating competition on July 4th. The guy who peaked in high school not at the local dive bar on Thanksgiving eve. It’s sad

ESPN’s coverage needs hella work. And a group of legends calling the game bad is needed cuz it’s a horrible product visually. Numbers are down. ASWeekend is not good. It seems like more players are in the league and out just as quick than ever before. They not above criticism.
Not surprising the NBA didn't want to continue working with TNT whose coverage almost entirely consisted of crapping on the product and thinking it's very funny and good to not know who half the league's players are.
Compare how the NFL's media partners cover it vs TNT w the NBA

my conspiracy theory: the play in was a way for adam silver to keep lebron relevant in his later years.
he cant carry a team to 50 wins anymore so lets put a system in place where his team still has a chance to be in the mix

規定数が82本以上だからこのペースで条件を満たせるけど日本人初のASweekendの3pコンテスト出場になると2月末までに100本以上成功しとかないと出場難しいか

The NBA crazy.. not only are they holding the All Star Game in bland ass Utah.. they are taking the Bayou Classic and playing it over there as a part of ASWeekend. I wonder what Utah’s version of Magic City hittin for? 🤔

I'm glad someone said this bc I think this would be a perfect step in the right direction. You hardly ever see/hear any promotionals for the WNBA. They should do more WNBA NBA commercials together, more events together, and DEF add some All-Stars competitions during ASWeekend
