Here’s a good one-ramp to my work — the basic idea is that we use vascular muscle tension to adjust the functional parameters of neural circuits
Last year I proposed “vasocomputation,” that vascular tension acts as a special type of memory that regulates neural dynamic range. Recently at @joinedgecity I shared some updates: how ‘thoughts’ are patterns of vascular tension, and implications for Buddhist enlightenment 1/x

The leaves and flowers are actually really similar. Deadnettled smells like “pleasant dirt”, anise hyssop like licorice/anise (as might be expected) I actually sniffed the leaves because I forgot I planted it, and throught it was beebalm (yet another mint) at first.

I originally interpreted "others' boundaries as larger" to mean someone saying "I will not X" and me hearing it as "I will not X, Y, and Z". Something I've been guilty of and also had happen to me

your boundaries as larger: you say "you're crossing my boundary" but really I just did something you didn't like. not the same others' boundaries as larger: someone implies "you're crossing my boundary" and you go along with it, but in reality they're manipulating you
