The main issues IME are that planning is hard when (1) everyone is a volunteer and working outside employment and (2) we all have executive functioning impairments.
The UK one, Autscape, gets grants and has been going strong for decades.

2. as they posed a threat, within minutes names like bigot, racist and etc began to be used, a UK Neurodiversity org by the name of Autscape hired a person by the name of Seth Kneller who also crashed his car into Westminster also had the same issues with Andrew Ditch

- attending Autscape and being immersed in a neurodivergent space with lots of wonderful people
- getting through lingering admin, including organising some public speaking
- having a few days off planned to reset before the final push to finish my PhD!

It’s been a heart-wrenching couple of weeks. That’s the flip side of loving people and being part of a family.
I didn’t get to #Autscape as planned, but that was an easy decision to make. I was needed here and I was glad to stay.
Yesterday we went out and did something joyful.

Quick trip to @autscape today to lead a drama workshop exploring Autistic joy through ‘glimmers’.
It certainly was joyful being back in a creative drama space and even more so being an Autistic creative drama space.

Je dis souvent que le meilleur mode de diag de l'autisme c'est de compter quelle proportion y a d'autistes parmi tes amis. Mais j'ai changé d'avis : le meilleur mode de diag, c'est de venir à Autscape. (Par contre, ça coûte autant de ££ qu'un diag en libéral 😬)
