JUST IN: Metro is keeping all of its 7000-series railcars out of service indefinitely. This is in response to the Blue Line derailment.
Because 7000-series trains make up nearly 60% of Metrorail's fleet, trains will operate about every 30 minutes tomorrow and have six cars each.
