Labcorp US is the place to self order this test, then you just go to your local regular lab for the blooddraw. It is the semi-quantitative test. It measures levels up to 25k/ml. It costs about $75

Day 22 of asking @elonmusk to fund the writing of my fantasy novel so I can quit my job. Today I had to leave work early to go to the hematologist/oncologist, lab work day. Who doesn’t love getting blood drawn? #doctors #writingcommmunity #author #ElonMusk #money #blooddraw

He died 30 minutes after arriving at the hospital. They usually do blooddraw upon entry. He tested at fatal levels of FENT, with a heart condition and METH, half an hour before his overdose death. Half an hour to metabolize more fentanyl compared to measured levels.

Really considering joining that RNA project but it's quite a lot of money for me and trying to get a blooddraw at home will be really hard I think

“Starting #IVs was one of my specialties as a nurse, and I’ve had many as a patient. It is definitely not pleasant. If you have difficult #veins or a fear of needles it can be a traumatic process": buff.ly/426wUWj by @illandwell #BloodDraw #spoonies #ChronicIllness

When I had my tonsils out at age 19, the blooddraw the day before, in my hospital bed, was so awful, my arm ached for WEEKS after the tonsils were out and I could not even think about it without it starting to throb, and could not do a blood draw in that arm for decades.

started out as a workout thing, but I realized I can't be on runway for long. no kind of workout without drugs could keep me underweight. Kept going until recently a DEI nurse punchered a nerve over a simple blooddraw, 2yrs of debilitating pain

Hi, if you’re going to put injector/syringe/blooddraw pictures in your tweets could you please put a trigger warning at the top for the benefit of people with BII-phobia and similar things?

Just finished her bloodwork. She was such a brave girl. Didn't cry at all! She said, "Wow!" And seemed to be fascinated with the whole process this time around. Pray for improvement please. #toddlers #irondefeciencyanemia #blooddraw #fyp #zelena

Best measure for this by far is serum Vitamin D levels (unsupplemented) Goal is to have it >70 ng/dl If you do the blooddraw once you can then use something like dminder app which is pretty accurate if you track it consistently But generally when youre max tanned you should be more than fine

Let’s chat about blood draws! , friends. 🩸 I know it’s not the sexiest topic, but if you’ve had symptoms, chronic illness, or routine check-ups, you’ve probably rolled up your sleeve. But what if there’s more going on than we realize? 🤔 How blood draws can weaken your immune system, and what you can do to protect yourself. Spoiler alert: the healthcare world isn’t asking the right questions. Immune System 101: Your immune system is like a personal army, loaded with white blood cells to keep you healthy. When blood is drawn, we’re not just losing fluid—we’re losing part of that army. 🛡️ If you’re already dealing with symptoms, losing these precious cells can leave you even weaker. The Cycle Nobody Talks About: You’re not feeling well, so they keep taking blood to ‘figure it out.’ Each draw can leave you more vulnerable, creating a vicious cycle where the real issue (hello, Epstein-Barr Virus 👀) gets stronger because your immune defenses are low. Blood Draw Reality Check: The same amount of blood is often taken from a healthy 200-pound guy and a 100-pound, chronically ill woman. 🤯 We need to rethink this! Reducing the volume or spacing out tests can help your immune system bounce back faster. Blood Donation Tips: Donating blood can be lifesaving, but it’s important to support your body before and after so you can help others without compromising your health. Protect Yourself: Blood tests can be crucial, but let’s get smart about it. Space out the tests and take smaller draws to help your immune system stay strong. 💪 ‘For the life of the flesh is in the blood.’ —Leviticus 17:11 ✨ P.S.
