🚨 MAJOR INCIDENT: PM INJURED IN BOMB ATTEMPT, SURVIVES
A large-scale security operation unfolded in Westminster last night after the Prime Minister, Aca, was found with an improvised explosive device strapped to his torso, fitted with a deadman switch.
Specialist officers from Met Operations 19 were first on the scene, securing a wide perimeter and evacuating Parliament Square. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal team soon arrived and confirmed that the device was too unstable to safely defuse.
In a decision described as “selfless” by sources close to No.10, the PM deliberately leapt into the River Thames in an attempt to minimise civilian casualties. The device detonated underwater. The PM survived the blast but remains in critical condition under armed guard in a London hospital.
Streets remain closed across Westminster, including Whitehall, Parliament Square, and Embankment. The Met has confirmed an active counter-terrorism investigation is underway, with support from NCA and military liaison units.
More to follow.
