🚨 REVEALED: ALLEGED FUEL SMUGGLING NETWORK INSIDE TAMAULIPAS’ RULING 4T STRUCTURE 🚨
#Tamaulipas 📍 An internal fracture within Mexico’s ruling coalition has triggered a major political earthquake in northeastern Mexico.
Mario López Hernández, federal congressman from the Green Party (PVEM) and former mayor of Matamoros — widely known as “La Borrega” — publicly accused top Morena figures in Tamaulipas of allegedly being linked to a fuel smuggling and tax-evasion network tied to “huachicol fiscal.”
In explosive statements, López claimed he was personally invited in 2020 to join an operation allegedly dedicated to fuel theft and hydrocarbon contraband.
🗣️ “I am not a huachicolero. They invited me and I told them to go to hell,” the congressman stated, distancing himself from members of the same political alliance.
Among those mentioned are some of the most powerful political figures in Tamaulipas and Morena’s national structure:
▪️ Mario Delgado Carrillo – former Morena national leader and current Secretary of Education
▪️ Olga Sosa Ruiz – Senator from Tamaulipas
▪️ Américo Villarreal – Governor of Tamaulipas
▪️ Lalo Gattás – Mayor of Ciudad Victoria
▪️ Carmen Lilia Canturosas – Mayor of Nuevo Laredo
▪️ Erasmo González Robledo – Mayor of Ciudad Madero
The accusations revive the controversial case of Sergio Carmona Angulo, the businessman assassinated in San Pedro Garza García in 2021.
According to resurfacing investigations, Carmona allegedly financed political campaigns through a “fiscal huachicol” network operating in the ports of Altamira and Tampico, where fuel shipments were allegedly mislabeled to evade millions in taxes.
Recent reports suggest U.S. authorities continue to maintain flight logs and communication records allegedly connecting Mario Delgado to Carmona’s aircraft — an issue Delgado has repeatedly avoided addressing publicly, including during Senate appearances involving questions about his U.S. visa status.
Mario López further claimed that the political structure currently governing Tamaulipas began taking shape in February 2020 under the shadow of illicit financing. He specifically pointed to Erasmo González as one of the architects of the alleged operation aimed at retaining political control of the state for multiple administrations through questionable funding mechanisms.
Meanwhile, Tamaulipas Secretary General of Government Héctor Villegas, known as “El Calabazo,” dismissed the accusations as “media statements” and demanded that any evidence be formally presented before prosecutors.
