Caught a sweet moment in Vernon Parish today! More romance 💜 These two Three-toed BoxTurtles appear to be in the middle of mating season in my flowerbed. The male is the one flipped upside down. He leans way back in their unique reclining position while locked in with the female. They can stay like this for hours as nature does its thing in the leaf litter. I think he’s now at the ‘enjoying a cigarette’ stage 😂 Spring is prime mating time here in western Louisiana, especially around Kisatchie country. These turtles can live decades. I checked a few hours later and they had moved on.

There are so many machines out there, we can’t document them all. Peopoly magneto, creality k1, VZBot etc We have a list of what BoxTurtles have been serialized on and over 75% have been vorons so that’s where the majority of the focus is.

Well I’m not Jason, but I can say there are several FLSun V400s running with BoxTurtles. So I don’t see why not.

Like other turtles, box turtles are inactive in the winter, entering a state of brumation, which is similar to hibernation. During brumation, turtles remain inactive, but they may wake from time to time to drink water before returning to an inactive state. #BoxTurtles

While box turtles are adept at life on land, they do still spend time in the water. That's part of what makes them turtles instead of tortoises. They will enter shallow waters during hot, dry weather, and they hunt for food in water. #BoxTurtles

Eastern box turtles are likely to be seen roaming through forests and along forest edges, while ornate box turtles prefer prairies, in particular prairies with sandy soils. #BoxTurtles
