Holiday magic for our DCSO kids 🎄🎅 DCSO’s Family and Wellness Unit helped make the holidays brighter for the children of deputies who were working the holiday. While their parents were on duty serving the community, Santa stopped by to deliver gifts and spread some much-deserved cheer to their kids. The Family and Wellness Unit also made special holiday deliveries to the families of our fallen officers through the Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation, ensuring those children and families know they are always part of the DCSO family. A heartfelt thank you to BrainCode for sponsoring this effort and helping make these moments of joy possible.

Usually if the wind blows at more than 90 km/h during a time-window of 10 min the hydraulic brakes go into action to protect the system. I suspect depending on the model, age, foundations etc. this limit can be higher or even lower

Additionally, one idea we discussed, if the rust-bio folks are amenable, would be to, perhaps, separate out and directly adopt some basic rust-bio functionality — perhaps with the somewhat different design goals in mind.

Second, the design we imagine is quite different. Rather than a crate that can solve so many different needs, we want to build a modular system of loosely-coupled crates, each with a very focused task, that can be separately used. 2/2

We are very inspired by rust-bio! However the goal of rust-seq is a bit different. First, as the name suggests we plan to focus (at least initially) on a purely sequence analysis related scope of work. 1/2

This might explain some of the difficulties I've had trying to flash some boards from my MacBook. (Same boards work fine from Linux.)

Could be a baud rate issue? I know newer rockchips, for example, print from mask/boot ROM at 1.5 Mbaud - it's been too fast for some of our cheapo converters.

all ps3s are supported. you just need a way to enter factory service mode and program that firmware. luckily there is an alternative for DEX and DECR consoles for downgrading and testing it :)

All the SecOC stuff is implemented entirely in software. The chip should have a basic HSM (ICU-S), not sure why it wasn't used. The only logical thing I can think of is that the HSM might not have a functional safety/ASIL rating. Or they just didn't buy the right AUTOSAR runtime.
