I am on tpot from such a long time. I know many cracked devs over here personally but I have never seen someone this cracked on tpot. Everytime he releases even a small project, I have to braintime and understand what the project is actually about, leave the execution. The most astonishing part is, as someone like me who is only into a single domain and tends to find opportunities in the same, there are guys like him who can do anything, literally anything. Language doesnt matter, complexity doesnt matter, domain doesnt matter, what matters is his basic understanding of software engineering and it is just so goated man. I see so many new guys dreaming of insane packages. Just to let you all know, if you have the skill then do dream it or first work hard to achieve this level of abstraction. I bet 90% of tpot who have tech in their bio and post slop won't even understand what he is doing and what problems does he work on and people blindly follow such shitpost accounts. Day 23 $8 MRR Got a conversion from trial to monthly today 🔥 Finished setting up deep links so we can handle email confirmations/password resets on different devices. If user confirms email on their computer, itll redirect to braintime.app/auth/email-con… else it will redirect to opening the braintime app with their logged in session. Same goes with password resets. Gonna do my best to go ham marketing from here on out, but still a lot to build so will try to split my time evenly between dev/marketing. Im adding a feature that lets people create their own quizzes or download quizzes others have created. That way, people can focus on WHATEVER it is they want to learn. What do yall think? Day 14 $5 MRR I fucked up with BrainTime and didn't take enough time up front to validate and talk to users early enough. Betting on the wrong idea is by far the biggest fuck up you can make. That being said, I'm still unconvinced that BrainTime is a bad idea; I'm only recognizing the mistakes I made early on. The plan is still: - Talk to more users, get more feedback - Build out the scheduling feature - Build out the ecosystem of quizzes feature - Make more short-form content However; My validation strategy going forward will look something like: - MVP demo core feature - Landing page with waitlist - Push demo on all organic channels - Make daily short form videos - Run paid ads s/o to @indieappbuilder for this advice. It's funny cause I learned a lot from trying to launch some clothing brands last year: - Niche down - Make marketing material as fast as possible - Run paid ads to gauge interest and only then do you manufacture...
