Disgraceful #HillGroup @Clarion_Group All pushed forward by this disgraceful #Government #BuildBabyBuild @SteveReedMP When they should have reconfiguring the building. Upgrading the building. Finding alternative uses so the swifts could have been safe. Hateful human beings.

Some days you're a general, some days you're a janitor. After our strong showing at the @mngop convention, and the finding that the clickers were hacked, many delegates and activists asked me to run in the primary. Thanks to all of you who've reached out - your support and belief in #BuildBabyBuild mean the world to me. But I made a promise to abide by the delegates' endorsement, and that's exactly what I plan to do. We're just three and a half months from early voting in the general election. We need to get behind one set of candidates as soon as possible so that we can build the momentum needed. Don't worry - I'm not going away. I'm going to help our candidates, and I will continue fighting for individual freedoms, economic opportunity, and good governance. I'm just getting started. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some rock to go pick.

We made an impact at the Republican state convention today! Our dozens of volunteers were stellar, my dad introducing me in front of 3,000 attendees, our straw bale filled hospitality suite, and my speech went perfectly. We received just under 15% of the votes on the first ballot, but we did not survive the second ballot. Given the short runway of four and a half months, we have a lot to be proud of. Huge thanks to @JenDeJournett for believing in me, to my dad, all of our volunteers, donors, and endorsers. #BuildBabyBuild is catching fire, and we will be back. But for now, we #WaitBabyWait

On this day in 1860, Abraham Lincoln shocked the world by getting nominated for president. He was in 4th place coming into the Republican convention. As the main candidates beat each other up, he made himself everyone's second choice. When the convention locked up, he won as the compromise candidate. This exact situation is playing out for us in the Minnesota Senate race. My main opponents are bitterly attacking each other, and my campaign is winning over delegates and becoming the second choice of all factions. I've worked hard to win over delegates all over the state. If our convention locks up, which it looks like it will, I'll be the compromise choice. #BuildBabyBuild #MNSen

🚨 “BY THE END OF THIS MONTH, ALLIES START RUNNING OUT OF FUEL” — Canada’s Natural Resources Minister drops the truth bomb Tim Hodgson just laid it out crystal clear at today’s presser: “We’re gonna start to see allies in other countries start running out of fuels… factories shutting down, schools closing.
What that means for us is we should be doing everything we can to help them.” He’s talking about the biggest energy shock in world history caused by the war in Iran — massive drawdowns of strategic reserves, and it’s about to hit hard. Meanwhile, Canada is sitting on stable, secure energy thanks to our resources. Hodgson reminded everyone the government already slashed the gas tax by 28 cents a litre to shield Canadians. But the real solution? Ramp up production NOW: •Get LNG to market •Move more oil to tidewater •Export LPG so millions in Asia can cook and heat their homes This isn’t fearmongering — this is reality. While the world burns, Canada has the power to be the reliable energy superpower our allies desperately need. No more virtue-signaling pipelines-to-nowhere.!! Time to build, produce, and lead!! Conservatives have been saying this for years. Finally someone in government is saying it out loud. Replying to @WhiteHouse
Taking a 50-year mortgage on a 40-year house is the ultimate 'Art of the Deal' for the bank. By the time you own the deed, the 'future-proof' heat pump is a relic and the walls are a suggestion. It’s not a home; it’s a slow-motion demolition project. #Housing2026 #BuildBabyBuild

We’ve seen the “robots are taking our jobs” line before. New technology creates demand for new things. Who knew that everyone would someday have a computer in their pocket? AI will create demand for new things too, and it’s hard for us to conceive what that demand will be. We can handle major changes, so long as they happen slowly enough. We need to protect today’s American workers, so that we can get the good out of AI without getting the bad. I’m the only computer scientist who has ever run for US Senate. It’s time to send someone to Washington who actually understands how this technology works. #BuildBabyBuild #MNSen

HOW CAN WE SOLVE THE PROBLEM: If Americans can't agree on why housing is so unaffordable Americans may not agree on much these days, but nearly everyone agrees on this: housing is too expensive. A new survey finds 93% of Americans think housing costs are unreasonable — and this is a very rare bipartisan consensus in an otherwise divided country. And they’re right. The median-priced home in the U.S. now sits at $403,000, and despite dropping this year, a roughly 6% mortgage rate will still put buyers with good credit at around $2,300 per month. That’s 33% of the median household income in the U.S., or roughly 48% after taxes — and this doesn’t even account for single individuals' average income. Just six years ago, that same home would’ve cost around $1,500 per month, or 53% less. But when asked why housing is so unaffordable, that unity collapses again. Roughly half of respondents blame investors for driving up prices by snapping up homes, while others point to rising construction costs, greedy landlords, or politicians failing to act. Just 17% say immigration is to blame, and fewer than one in ten think the main issue is red tape slowing new construction. In other words, everyone agrees there’s a problem—but no one agrees on who’s holding the hammer. Economists, meanwhile, are mostly aligned: it’s the shortage. The U.S. is short nearly 4 million homes according to government and real estate industry analysis, and that supply crunch explains most of the price pressure. Only about 13% of homes sold last year went to investors—most of them small landlords, not faceless hedge funds—so while Wall Street’s presence makes for an easy villain, it’s not the primary driver. It’s been popular to blame investors, but the economics of that don’t make a lot of sense. If there’s a bright spot, it’s that attitudes toward new housing seem to be shifting. A majority of Americans — 54%, including more than half of homeowners—say they’d welcome more building in their communities. That’s a sign that the NIMBY tide might be turning, even slightly. The hard truth is that no single scapegoat can fix a decades-long shortage. But public frustration could be the political pressure needed to get more homes built. #HousingCrisis, #AffordableHousing, #HousingShortage, #HomePrices, #SupplyCrunch, #BuildMoreHomes, #NIMBY, #YIMBY, #HousingAffordability, #RealEstateCrisis, #MortgageRates, #MedianHomePrice, #HousingSupply, #EndTheShortage, #BipartisanIssue, #HousingConsensus, #ConstructionCosts, #RedTapeReform, #ZoningReform, #MoreHousing, #Homeownership, #RentTooHigh, #InvestorBlame, #SupplySideSolution, #HousingPolicy, #AmericanDream, #FixHousing, #BuildBabyBuild, #4MillionHomes, #HousingEconomics, #LandUseReform, #PermitReform, #NotInMyBackyard, #YesInMyBackyard, #HousingShortfall, #Homebuyers, #FirstTimeHomebuyer, #RentalCrisis, #RealEstate, #EconomicIssue, #HousingPoll, #PublicFrustration, #PoliticalPressure, #DecadesLongProblem, #ShortageFix, #HomeBuilding, #AffordabilityGap, #MortgageBurden, #HousingReform, #SolveHousing

#BuildBabyBuild is going national! I hosted a successful fundraiser last night with @TheRealCShinkle in New York. Caroline is running for Congress in New York’s 12th district in Manhattan, and it was so good to connect with other young conservatives fighting to restore opportunity and combat socialism. I also couldn’t resist sharing some pig farming stories with folks from the big city. 🐷 Huge thanks to my friends Peter and Dan for hosting, and @Sa_Bosch for the excellent photography. The #BuildBabyBuild movement is alive and well. And we’re just getting started!
