Pump.fun proved infra isn’t neutral. Design shapes outcomes. Speed volume → meme casino: launch → pump → dump → die. Alignment survivability → something else entirely. That’s #BurnToFun on @SonicLabs: not a token factory, but a meme economy flywheel!

🚨The Pump.fun Case Isn’t About Pump.fun It’s About the End of Casino Launchpads For years, launchpads hid behind the idea of “neutral infrastructure.” Now, courts are beginning to challenge that assumption. When a launchpad is accused of insider coordination, early privileged access, validator-level frontrunning, and systematic retail extraction, the issue is not poor execution. It’s design. Pump.fun is not under scrutiny solely because of alleged human coordination; but because its system design neither prevents such behavior nor provides effective safeguards against its recurrence. At this point the discussion moves beyond individual actions and into system design. This Is Where #BurnToFun Begins BurnToFun is not “a better Pump.fun.” It is an answer to a more fundamental question: If launchpads aren’t neutral, how should they be designed? BurnToFun’s answer is clear: filtering over speed, alignment over extraction, and survivability over exit. 🔹Structural Differences, Not Marketing Claims 1️⃣ Early Access Is Earned Early participation is veFIVE-gated. Capital alone is insufficient, commitment is required. Bots and whales lose their structural advantage by design. 2️⃣ Liquidity Is Irreversible The initial LP is permanently burned. Not locked. Not promised. Burned. 3️⃣ Launch Is Not the Finish Line Every project immediately integrates into @0xDeFive ’s DeFi stack: liquidity, farming, staking. Projects don’t end at launch, they compound. 4️⃣ Curation Over Dilution Fewer launches. Higher signal. Liquidity and attention are concentrated, not scattered. 🔹The Real Contrast Casino launchpads: Attention → Velocity → Extraction BurnToFun: Filtering → Alignment → Ecosystem Flywheel One drains users. The other recycles capital, community, and credibility. 🔹Why This Matters Now The Pump.fun case may set a precedent: launchpads and even infrastructure are not neutral actors. If that holds, the next generation of launchpads must be: selective, accountable, and structurally anti-extractive. BurnToFun was built with that assumption from day one. BurnToFun doesn’t launch memes. It builds meme economies. This is precisely the kind of model that can take @SonicLabs to an entirely new level: a model that leverages memes to naturally attract users and attention to the network, while simultaneously transforming those inflows, through system design, into sustained participation, higher-quality onchain activity, and long-term commitment. In this structure, the objective is not merely user acquisition, but user retention—retention that is embedded into the system itself. This approach is fully aligned with what @MitchellDemeter has emphasized: that a network’s real advantage lies in its ability to attract and retain users by creating environments where people stay, build, and become part of something, rather than simply enter and exit.

#BurnToFun is a complete solution to the problems in the meme launch space.

There are two things right now making this space much harder for real investors and analysts. First - @Pumpfun It opened the door for anyone to launch memes without understanding anything about Web3, on-chain, or how projects actually work. That created the perfect environment for scammers to farm liquidity. Second - vibe coding. Now people can build SaaS, apps, websites just by describing ideas to AI. No deep knowledge, no real engineering behind it. It looks like tech, it feels like tech… but in many cases it’s just surface. And that’s where the real problem starts. It’s getting harder to recognize what is real tech that will last and generate revenue, and what is something built in a few days just to capture liquidity and disappear. Because of that, projects that actually deserve attention don’t get it. Liquidity flows into memes and gets drained through rugs, or into “fake tech” that looks good but has no long-term value. Some level of regulation would help here, not to kill the space, but to protect capital from being constantly farmed. Since investors are the ones losing the most.

Real issue. BurnToFun by @0xDeFive on @SonicLabs is trying to fix that: ✔️curated launches (not fully permissionless) ✔️ve-token gating → filters bots/mercenary capital ✔️LP burned at launch → removes rug vector ✔️built-in DeFi integration → post-launch survival

While other chains are drowning in noise, #BurnToFun is curating the next generation of high-potential memes on @SonicLabs . With veFIVE-gating and permanent LP burns, @0xDeFive is building a fortress for real users, not whales or snipers. Get ready, Sonic Labs is about to get loud. 🔥
DeFive’s #BurnToFun isn’t just another meme launchpad, it filters signal from noise. Dual curation (projects users) burned LP from day one, and native DeFi utility make launches stronger and safer. Built on @SonicLabs , turning memes into lasting ecosystems, not fleeting hype

Meme without filters = chaos. Meme with a two-layer filter = ecosystem. If executed right, BurnToFun won’t be another bull market launchpad — it could shape the cycle instead of being consumed by it. 👀

What is #BurnToFun? BurnToFun is a meme launchpad that fixes the core problems of the meme space, a design that becomes even more critical as we approach a bull market, where hype and capital flow can either build lasting value or get lost in chaos. It applies two layers of filtering:
1️⃣ Project-level In meme economics, the meme is the product, so narrative matters. Only culturally/narratively strong, high-potential, low-cap memes pass.
2️⃣ User-level Early/private access is veFIVE-gated, earned by locking $FIVE (& burning it to mint memes) As bots and whales almost always rush into the earliest phases, this creates a natural anti-bot, anti-whale filter that only lets committed participants into the most valuable stages. At launch: ✅the initial guaranteed LP is permanently burned, stronger than a lock, making it rug-proof from day one. ✅Each project immediately plugs into DeFive’s DeFi stack (liquidity, farming, staking) so it can survive and grow. 🔹Launches are frequent but curated; keeping momentum high while maintaining quality, this not only avoids adding to dilution, it actively reduces it, by concentrating liquidity and attention on a select set of high-quality projects instead of scattering them across countless low-quality tokens. As we approach a bull market, this focus amplifies impact: capital and community momentum cycle back into the curated set, creating a self-reinforcing effect where each successful launch strengthens the ecosystem for the next. 🔹Outcomes? A Four-Way Win #Sonic: A network filled with high quality, noise-free meme projects. #DeFive: Stronger FIVE tokenomics, becoming core infrastructure and a mark of credibility. #Users: Credible opportunities to maximize gains, especially in the upcoming bull market. #Projects: Visibility and survival tools for creative, culturally strong teams. BurnToFun doesn’t just launch memes, it curates, protects, and powers them to last.

#BurnToFun vs Pump․Fun vs Fat Finger…
They all launch memes Oops. All stop right there.
BurnToFun? That’s just where it begins.
Not even in the same league.
Let’s talk BurnToFun. Memes aren’t just tokens, they’re collective narratives.
But what’s happening on most launchpads today is only a shadow of that potential:
Tokens with no identity, launchpads with no filtering or support, and users with no commitment.
The result?
They launch, they pump… they die. This is where BurnToFun steps in.
Not just a launch tool, but a structural answer to Web3’s triple crisis:
A crisis of meaning, survival, and participation. Let’s break it down: 🟥 Problem 1: Rootless, identity-less tokens Most launchpads accept any token with a logo, no filter.
The result? A flood of forgettable tokens that disappear fast. 🔷 BurnToFun’s Response:
Launching is a privilege, not a right.
Only memes with cultural, narrative, or visual depth get in. 📊 Impact: • Project: Evolves from a dead-end joke to a brand with narrative power • User: Chooses from filtered, real narratives, not gambling on hype. • #Sonic: Noise is cleared, real meme culture emerges. • #DeFive: Acts as a mark of credibility. 🟥 Problem 2: Launch = Death Typical launchpads mint, hype, and vanish.
Projects are left with no support, no liquidity, and no tools to grow.
Worse? Some are designed for rugs from the start, draining the initial liquidity pool. 🔷 BurnToFun’s Response:
Launch is just the beginning.
Projects integrate directly into DeFive’s DeFi infra — liquidity, farming, staking.
Initial guaranteed LP is permanently burned — rug-proof by default. 📊 Impact: • Project: Survives with economic tools post-launch. • User: Doesn’t flee after the first candle, sees the path and stays. • Sonic: Builds layered, lasting liquidity, not passing capital. • DeFive: Evolves into critical infra, attracting fresh liquidity and boosting TVL. 🟥 Problem 3: Users Without Commitment Free access means no commitment.
Bots swarm in, whales manipulate, and real users get buried in the noise. 🔷 BurnToFun’s Response:
Private access and influence rights are gated by veFIVE, earned by locking $FIVE (and burning FIVE to mint memes).
This creates a natural anti-bot, anti-whale filter, only committed participants can enter the most valuable phases. 📊 Impact: • Project: Grows with committed users, not speculators. • User: Enters with conviction, not just greed. • Sonic: Forms a stable, organic user layer → community growth. • DeFive: FIVE is both locked and burned → scarcity, utility, and value rise. 🟥 Problem 4: Dormant or Chaotic Launchpads Most platforms either launch rarely, or flood the chain with low-quality tokens.
Good ideas with small budgets are left out.
Users lose trust and miss real opportunities. 🔷 BurnToFun’s Response:
Frequent, curated launches.
All with low market caps, low risk, and high potential.
Every meme gets a chance, but only if it’s worthy. 📊 Impact: • Project: Small teams with big ideas get visibility. • User: Always a real, low-risk opportunity to join. • Sonic: A vibrant network with dynamic projects. • DeFive: High activity → liquidity hub for fresh capital → organic FIVE locking & burning → stronger tokenomics. 🎯Final Line:
BurnToFun isn’t just launching memes, it’s setting a standard.
In a world of disposable tokens, this is where culture is curated and built to last.

“What appeared to be a fair, automated marketplace was, Plaintiffs say, structurally tilted to extract value from ordinary users while rewarding those with privileged access to Solana’s infrastructure and Jito Labs’s transaction-ordering tools." Wow, this is damning. I’ll be writing an article on all of this tomorrow. WHAT THE HELL?!
