Complex PCI – Erasmus MC, Rotterdam
Operator: Nicolas Van Mieghem, MD, PhD
Institution: Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, The Netherlands
Technology: Diamondback 360® Orbital Atherectomy System
A 75-year-old male with hypertension, hypercholesterolaemia, and diabetes mellitus presented with dyspnoea on exertion and reduced exercise tolerance.
Dr. Nicolas Van Mieghem performed orbital atherectomy using the Diamondback 360® with a 1.25 mm crown. Bidirectional lesion modification at controlled speeds allowed precise calcium debulking and optimal vessel preparation for stenting.
Stepwise execution and real-time intravascular imaging ensured procedural safety and effectiveness.

"EVOQUE TTVR – University Medical Center Mainz
Operators: Philipp Lurz, MD, PhD; Ralph Stephan von Bardeleben, MD, FESC; Edoardo Zancanaro
Institution: University Medical Center Mainz, Germany
Technology: EVOQUE Tricuspid Valve Replacement System
A 77-year-old male with secondary TR, NYHA III symptoms, and multiple heart failure admissions underwent TTVR with a 56 mm EVOQUE valve.
During deployment, panel experts Azeem Latib and Nicolas Van Mieghem discussed optimal positioning. Once anchors were released, minor tilting allowed final annular alignment.
With full ventricular expansion engaging surrounding anatomy, precision remained key to procedural success.

"Live TTVR – University Medical Center Mainz
Operator: Philipp Lurz, MD, PhD
Institution: University Medical Center Mainz, Germany
Technology: EVOQUE Tricuspid Valve Replacement System (Edwards Lifesciences)
During a live case from Mainz, Dr. Philipp Lurz performed TTVR in a 77-year-old male with NYHA III, recurrent HF hospitalisations, AFib, CKD, DM II, and prior RCA stenting.
He guided the EVOQUE system with careful alignment and precise deployment, ensuring stability and optimal valve function.

"LuX-Valve TTVR – University Hospital of Bordeaux (Part 1)
Operators: Thomas Modine, Lionel Leroux, Julien Ternacle, Guillaume Bonnet
Institution: Atlantic Valve Academy, University Hospital of Bordeaux
Technology: LuX-Valve Transcatheter Tricuspid Valve Replacement System
An 81-year-old male with COPD, hypercholesterolaemia, paroxysmal AF post-cryoablation, prior LAD stenting, and severe TR underwent jugular-access LuX-Valve implantation.
Following echo-guided puncture and sequential dilatation, a 35 Fr short sheath was advanced smoothly. The catheter entered the right atrium under stabiliser support and was flexed gently in preparation for valve deployment.
Future device generations are expected to further reduce sheath size.
