(State Avg CBI = 81; higher score = more backward). 4/ The findings are stark. While the average SC CBI score is 96 (highly backward), the SC-Christian (BC-C) CBI score is 44. This means SC-Christians score as significantly more advanced than the average Backward Class (BC) score of 86. #CasteCensus 5/ Educational data shows SC-Christians are highly advanced. Graduate numbers are on par with general upper castes, and access to English-medium education matches or exceeds groups like OC Kapu, Reddy, Kamma, and Brahmins. 6/ When it comes to premium education, SC-Christian enrollment in private and elite schools is higher than OC Reddys, Iyengars/Iyers, and Velamas. The educational backwardness tied to historical untouchability is statistically absent here. 7/ Economic indicators show a similar trend. In terms of traditional vs. professional occupations, SC-Christians largely occupy stable, professional roles in both public and private sectors—faring better in government jobs than OC Brahmins. 8/ The Constitution emphasizes "adequate representation" for affirmative action. However, the data reveals SC-Christians are represented in government better than Jains, Brahmins, and Rajus. The test for backwardness is clearly not met. 9/ Including a highly advanced group (CBI 44) into the SC category (CBI 96) would lead to reverse discrimination. It would allow a relatively affluent group to consume the quota meant for the most oppressed: Hindu, Sikh, and Buddhist Dalits. 10/ Data from the Paris School of Economics confirms the most downtrodden are those who remain Hindu Dalits. If political pressure forces inclusion, it must be via a separate subcategory beyond the current 15% to protect the most vulnerable. 🛑 END
