A little @napari_imaging plugin that was handy during Trackastra development now nicely packaged: drag-and-dropping #CellTrackingChallenge data (annotations/results) into napari, to directly get labels & tracks 🙂

In the paper we show that our approach leads to SOTA results on multiple datasets (nuclei, bacteria & CTC), beating highly specialized methods despite being simple and almost parameter-free. There is a napari plugin, so please try it out:

In this edition, the #CellTrackingChallenge focused on linking methods that generalize well across 12 diverse real datasets in 2D t & 3D t . So the problem was: Given a timelapse and masks, e.g. from off-the-shelf cell detectors, how to form valid cell lineages in a robust way?
