Strength isn't found in power, but in staying humble and kind through tough times.
It's easy to let success go to your head and to lose touch with the values that truly matter. But I believe true greatness lies in staying grounded and humble, and treating others respectfully and kindly. We are all equal – regardless of positions, titles, money, or influence. (Read that again.)
Humility allows us to learn from our mistakes and grow as individuals – I’ve made my fair share of mistakes but I wouldn’t change it for the world. When we see mistakes as an opportunity to embrace humility, something remarkable happens. It opens doors for collaboration, empathy, and understanding. It’s then that we create an environment where everyone's ideas and perspectives are truly valued, and that becomes the breeding ground for innovation and progress, to create something truly extraordinary.
I always remind my colleagues – and my children - to check our egos at the door. When egos are parked, it allows us to really listen to others, uplift those around us, and to be truly grateful for the opportunities we've been given. Success is not just measured by our financial achievements, but by the positive impact we have on the lives of others.
Tell me, what is your biggest value that drives you? What's that one thing you want people to remember you for?
