جب میں نے فری لانسنگ شروع کی تو مجھے لگا فارمولا بہت سادہ ہے… کوئی اسکل سیکھو، Fiverr پروفائل بناؤ، اور کلائنٹس کا انتظار کرو۔ تو میں انتظار کرتی رہی۔ 3 ماہ گزر گئے۔ نہ کوئی کلائنٹ ملا، نہ ایک روپیہ کمایا۔ میں ویب ڈیزائن سیکھ رہی تھی، Fiverr پروفائل بھی تیار تھی، لیکن کوئی رسپانس نہیں آ رہا تھا۔ اسی دوران میں نے اپنی پرسنل برانڈنگ کے لیے Figma میں پوسٹس بنانا شروع کر دیں کیونکہ مجھے Photoshop نہیں آتا تھا۔ پھر ایک دن مجھے ایک اہم بات سمجھ آئی۔ میں نے انتظار کرنا چھوڑ دیا اور کلائنٹس تلاش کرنا شروع کر دیے۔ میں نے ہر چیز پر ریسرچ کی۔ آرٹیکلز پڑھے، YouTube ویڈیوز دیکھیں، اور مختلف طریقے ایک ایک کرکے آزمائے۔ آخرکار مجھے اپنا پہلا کلائنٹ ایک Mental Health پیج پر Direct Outreach کے ذریعے ملا۔ میں نے اس کے لیے تمام پوسٹس Figma میں بنائیں۔ پھر آہستہ آہستہ مجھے مزید کلائنٹس Direct Client Hunting اور Social Media کے ذریعے ملنے لگے۔ میں نے Communication سیکھی، Meetings بک کیں، بہت بار ناکام ہوئی۔ لیکن بہت سی Deals بھی Close کیں۔ اس مہینے میں نے 27,000 روپے کمائے۔ اور اس سے پچھلے مہینے؟ صفر۔ یہ تو صرف شروعات تھی۔ آج 2 سال گزر چکے ہیں، اور پیچھے مڑ کر دیکھتی ہوں تو وہ سب کچھ حاصل کر چکی ہوں جس کا کبھی صرف خواب دیکھا کرتی تھی۔ لیکن جو چیز مجھے واقعی افسردہ کرتی ہے وہ وہ DMs ہیں جو مجھے روزانہ نئے لوگوں کی طرف سے آتے ہیں۔ وہ خود کو پھنسا ہوا اور مایوس محسوس کرتے ہیں، 6 ماہ کورسز کرنے کے باوجود ایک بھی کلائنٹ حاصل نہیں کر پاتے۔ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ کلائنٹس حاصل کرنے کے لیے صرف Freelance Platforms پر انحصار کرنا ضروری نہیں۔ اگر آپ ایک Beginner Designer ہیں اور جاننا چاہتے ہیں کہ میں کلائنٹس کیسے حاصل کرتی ہوں، تو مجھے DM کریں۔ Nadia Malik Digital Skills Coach #FreelancingJourney #FiverrTips #WebDesigner #ClientHunting #DigitalSkills
