serve in the US military at a higher rate than any other demographic and always have tbh. the scouts and codetalkers were the most valuable "uncle toms" to ever exist to this nation. pride is our downfall but also can be weaponized wonderfully

I was living on a Navajo reservation on 9/11. Native Americans have a history of serving as proud, brave, and honorable members of America’s military. The Navajo codetalkers were a game changer as they provided a form of communication that the Nazis couldn’t understand if they intercepted it in World War Two.

100 % Agree: My wife is Native, I am White. We have been together since the early 80's. I was so lucky to learn Native traditions and culture that were "never forced upon me" and even spent time living on a reservation. What is happening now is "not the same" enough said !!

Happy 107th birthday Navajo Code Talker John Kinsel, Sr.

Of course he hasn't. Maybe he should spend a week up in Gallup and learn about their wine mixed with malt liquor. Then get robbed by some codetalkers.

Windtalkers! They totally ruined a great story. I would love it if they actually made a movie about the Navaho codetalkers. Adam Beach was great and his character should have been the focus of the movie.

So native bloodlines are sought after for occult practices. Because they are highly intuitive, and the things occultists try to conjure or communicate with do better w/ natives...think the WW2 codetalkers, they werent there for Germany, but what the germans were trying to contact

It is actually quite useful and offers another type of β€œencryption” or actually cipher encoding along the lines of the Navajo Codetalkers

If I’m still remembering correctly, the Navajo codetalkers used β€œpotato” for grenades and β€œegg” for bombs … they both seem quite apt as does this
Did you know? The hand grenade is named after the pomegranate. French soldiers in the 1500s saw a small fragmenting bomb scattering shrapnel like pom arils and called it a grenade, the French word for pomegranate.

Helen of Troy was a mythological woman...she can be anything you want her to be; why does this concern you in the very least. We can assure you that if she is played by a Chiricahua Apache Maiden no one other than perhaps one jealous Navajo would care...and he would likely claim to be the last surviving CodeTalker and someone on your show would likely say the CodeTalkers had no language until they met a runaway slave who taught it to them. That the Code Talkers were actually speaking AAVE.

Your question is good too. There are many options. The most highly decorated infantry unit in U.S. history is the 442nd, the Japanese Americans who fought during WWII while their families were in prison camps in the desert. And the Tuskegee Airmen and Navajo Codetalkers

Thank you for your service. It was brave Native American (Navajo) codetalkers who helped us win WWII in the Pacific. (I knew one, Carl Gorman). Your service is something you can be proud of! It honors your Apache heritage as well as honoring the United States.

In this case the development of local languages is no longer a natural result of friction or benign neglect, but actively encouraged to "innoculate" a culture against infohazards. Navajo codetalkers as domestic policy.
