My 2018 #CodingTour took me to @alex_schl (and @zfordreitz at the time) company. I had a solo flight booked for March 2020 to consult there. Instead, on the same exact flight, my whole family moved to Germany, during which years I never managed to see Zeb or Alex.

What has changed since my interview with @DevJourneyFM?
My planned #PairProgramming tour turned into an online/remote tour because of the pandemic. Later I rejoined the healthcare IT company in a fully remote position, being able to do remote Pair- or #MobProgramming on demand.
So it’s important for me (and perhaps you reading this) to take the opportunity to connect back from these happy longer-term outcomes to the details of that one tiny week when I was part of what BREDEX is doing. My notes from that #CodingTour week in 2018: schmonz.com/2018/07/20/codin…
My article about week 2 of my #CodingTour is online. I was collaborating with @ta on 3D visualizations in the browser with @threejs_org.
Thanks Theo, it was an awesome time learning from and with you!
Reach out & invite me to pair-program also with you!

My current #CodingTour stop is #MobProgramming with @mdclement at Emmersion Learning (Lehi, Utah).
Thanks for the awesome experience so far. 🎉🎉🎉
I only have 3 slots left, reach out to me if you want to invite me as well!
Next week I will be #PairProgramming with @Johnicholas from @Glitch on my #CodingTour. It's really impressive what they are doing, can't wait to get started collaborating.
Stay tuned, there will be another article about last weeks sessions with @ta soon!
Week 3 of my #CodingTour:
I started test-driving a #Flutter mobile app while remote pair-programming with @adibolb. Both of us completely new to the language and framework.
So far, we both enjoy @FlutterDev and @dart_lang a lot. The dev experience is really great.
On my #CodingTour a couple summers ago, there was no clear preference among folks I paired or mobbed with. Seemed like half (or more) of German developers preferred QWERTY. At least when I’m on QWERTZ I find out quicklz because “schmony” looks funnz.
Remember when itinerant coders with sufficient privilege could go on tour from city to city? Nobody has that privilege now. My week with @MATHEMA123: schmonz.com/2018/07/13/codin…
This week begins @Harald3DCV’s now remote-only tour. Follow him as he makes the best of it.

Canceled my #CodingTour right before it would have started. Traveling back to Austria tomorrow. Will continue doing a remote #PairProgramming Tour. More updates soon.
I was guest at @DevJourneyFM podcast talking about my passion for software engineering and my #CodingTour.
Another awesome podcast I found out during the preparation of my tour, check out the episode and sign up for future ones!
