Celebrating National Coding Week!
At PanAfricare, we believe the future belongs to young innovators who can design, create, and solve real problems through science and technology.
Through our Future Skills Project (FSP) and the INSPIRE Project, we’ve equipped young minds across Nigeria with coding skills that sharpen creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and the results speak for themselves. At the 2024 African Coding Challenge, project beneficiaries from Government Girls Secondary School Dutse, Abuja and Government Secondary School Mabushi, Abuja, earned 1st and 2nd positions respectively!
From building a trash-catcher game where a robot dives deep to clean the ocean, to creating an animation that highlights the importance of vaccination for pregnant women and antenatal care, these students are proving they’re not just learning the digital world, they’re shaping it. Coding empowers them to think critically to break down complex challenges and develop solutions that can improve schools, communities, and even the wider world.
What seems like a simple line of code today is actually the foundation of innovations that will shape lives and transform the future!
