It gives me great pleasure to announce that, with the help of the @AYCommission, I have joined a remarkable cohort of young leaders from all over Africa for a “COMMUNITY-LED ADAPTATION PLANNING” workshop that will last for three days. I am thrilled to be working with such dedicated and enthusiastic people on this project, which is a component of the larger African Activists on Climate Justice effort. Throughout these three days, we will be exploring methods that enable our communities to face the climate change problems with strength and resilience. It's motivating to witness the enthusiasm and originality that young people bring to the table when we discuss potential solutions that are specific to our situations. I am reminded of the strength of unity when we converse and exchange ideas. When we band together, we have the power to make a difference in our neighbourhoods and fight for a more sustainable future.
