So inspired by my visit this am w/ @communitycheer Long Branch Gardeners. Neighbors share space in their yards & community members garden together- growing fresh produce for their families. Also an opportunity for people to learn about how food & herbs are used across cultures.

We had a great time signing up community members for NOx pollution testing and teaching Marylanders about the health impacts of gas with the MD Beyond Gas Coalition, @IPL and @AIM. Went on a community-led walk of Long Branch today organized by @communitycheer and @PurpleLineCC. Great to see progress made on the Purple Line tracks, but more must be done to consistently ensure pedestrian safety and access to local businesses during construction.

I appreciated this morning's @PurpleLineMD walk with @communitycheer. As a strong advocate of public transportation and road safety, we listened to residents’ concerns about how the construction is impacting pedestrian safety, small businesses and bus schedules.
