Informative CSOs meeting with @GlobalFund Country Team and Local Fund Agency (LFA) discussed on progress implementation of Grant Cycle 7 (GC7), updates on Grant Cycle 8 (GC8). In the meeting, @RwandaNGOForum was honored to share the progress implementation of integrated Community Led Monitoring (#iCLM) Model in Rwanda which is "a mechanism that service users or local communities Living, affected and or impacted by or at high risk of HIV, TB and Malaria use to gather, analyze, and use information on an ongoing basis to improve service: ⏩ Availability ⏩ Accessibility ⏩ Acceptance ⏩ Quality both at heath facility and community levels. The iCLM Model is being supported by the iCLM System for community data management. This helps to get real time data and real time response for identified issues aimed to improve the quality of HIV, TB and Malaria services. We commend @RwandaHealth @RBCRwanda @GlobalFund @UNAIDSRwanda @WHORwanda for the strong partnership, Collaboration technical and financial support in strengthening the community systems. We were honoured to present our oral abstract at #IAS2025: “Impact of the Anti-Homosexuality Act on HIV Service Delivery in Uganda: Evidence from Community-Led Monitoring.” Our data from 320 public health facilities and 50 drop-in centres shows the 2023 AHA has had devastating effects: ⚠️ 31% drop in HIV testing for MSM ⚠️ 38% drop in population-specific services ⚠️ Increased stigma, fear, and client dropouts at DICs ⚠️ Reports of harassment, raids, and mental health distress among staff While some service indicators improved overall, MSM-specific access sharply declined, with DICs facing legal threats and strained partnerships.
