The Congress party cannot keep repeating the same mistakes and expect different results.
Ashok Gehlot received everything from the party three terms as Rajasthan Chief Minister, national prominence, and even the opportunity to become Congress President in 2022. Yet when the moment arrived, he chose to hold on to the Chief Minister's post rather than strengthen the organization. The rebellion by his loyalists against the party high command ultimately derailed that opportunity.
For years, Congress has suffered because senior leaders have been unwilling to make way for the next generation. A party that speaks of democracy and empowerment must practice both within its own ranks.
After Kamal Nath, it is time for Ashok Gehlot and other veterans to move to a true Margdarshak Mandal and play the role of mentors rather than power centers.
@SachinPilot has spent years rebuilding the Congress in Rajasthan, taking the party's message to the grassroots, and connecting with young India. He represents the energy, credibility, and leadership that Congress needs for the future.
The party should seriously consider
@SachinPilot as General Secretary (Organisation) and initiate a genuine generational transition. Even
@kcvenugopalmp
should gracefully pave the way for younger leaders.
Congress cannot be revived with yesterday's faces and yesterday's methods. The future belongs to leaders who can inspire a new generation of workers and voters.
New Leadership. New Energy. New Congress.
