We've lost trust in governments and media. Now, companies hold the most power. It's time to hold them accountable as consumers, investors, and stockholders. This is the unavoidable truth. #CorporateAccountability #ConsumerPower

After following the story regarding #BricksandMinifigs and learning B&M’s Corporate not only allegedly cheated the previous Franchisee Owners, by ousting they from their store without any compensation or ability to inventory their store whatsoever, combined with their alleged egregious actions against the owner of all the consigned property, one has to wonder… …successful companies, financially stable companies, usually don’t allegedly try to steal not only from their Franchisee Owners, but Customers. The fact that this company is doing everything in their power to not lose a dime of inventory, even though it’s not legally theirs, and apparently allegedly refusing to pay the Franchisee Owners for their stake in the company, it seems as if they’re DESPERATE TO KEEP EVERY DIME. And, in my experience, my OPINION, this is not behavior you normally see from companies which are successful and financially stable. On the reverse, behavior such as this usually signals that a company is in dire financial straights and trying to keep every dime in the company, on the books, possibly even for sale propositions. Frankly, what I’m SHOCKED at is not only Bricks and Minifigs actions in both instances, Franchisee Owners & Customer, but I’m stunned that @LEGO_Group hasn’t responded; as regardless of the fact this is a completely separate company, they are, IN FACT, affecting LEGOS reputation, as well. I think, if I were the COO OR CEO of LEGO, I would be placing a call to the CEO of B&M’s and making it very clear to them they needed to resolve their business, clean and fast, or possibly lose the ability to use LEGOS licensing, including selling their merchandise. Because, even though it’s B&M’s who started these problems, and has, in my OPINION, been egregious in their behaviors, the main name here which everyone hears each and every time this is discussed on social media is LEGO, LEGO, LEGO. Guess what name sticks in peoples minds with the negative association that Bricks & Minifigs has caused? You guessed it, LEGO. It certainly doesn’t help that a multi-billion dollar company, LEGO, which has had life-long loyal customers, making their lives comfortable, has stayed absolutely silent, not willing to get involved and stand up for their customers who have made this company what it is today. Frankly, I don’t care if it’s not your company. Or that you didn’t make any of the deals. It’s the FACT that they sell your merchandise, use your company’s name, marketing shots and advertising in their business, to help them sell products, that’s enough. Effectively, they’re using your company, your products, for their success; something they had NOTHING to do with the creation of. Thus, they should care for, and tend to, not only their reputation, but how their actions affect YOUR REPUTATION. And if they are out of line, as they clearly are, be called to task. Americans have HAD IT with big corporations stealing from them. If these companies will not back us, then we don’t need to continue supporting them. Never forget, WITHOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS, YOUR COMPANY DOESN’T EXIST. YOUR JOBS DON’T EXIST. YOUR INCOME DOESN’T EXIST. So, is it really THAT difficult to take a stand for the ones who make this all possible for all of you; especially when they’re taking your name down with them? I don’t think so. Not when all it would take is a single phone call to light that fire. 🔥 #Lego #BricksAndMinifigs #ACOB #WrecklessBen #ConsumerPower

🍔💰 Price-Gouging Backlash Win 💰🍔 Wendy's CEO was ready to drop $20 million on digital menu boards for real-time "dynamic pricing," aka surging the cost of your burger when the drive-thru gets busy. The Internet saw it for what it was: straight-up consumer gouging. Backlash hit so hard and fast that they folded almost overnight. We hold the power. Never forget. Next corporate giant that needs this reality check? Drop the names 👇 #Wendys #DynamicPricing #ConsumerPower #NoSurgePricing #CorporateGreed
Wendy’s CEO was ready to drop $20 million on new digital menu boards. The goal? To change the price of your burger in real-time. If the drive-thru got busy, your lunch suddenly cost more. They called it "dynamic pricing." We called it what it was: a $20 million investment to price-gouge the consumer. But then the internet exploded. The backlash was so fierce and so fast that Wendy's folded almost overnight. They tried to play us, and we shut it down. Never forget who actually holds the power. What corporate giant needs this kind of reality check next?

Is it not ironic that food produced for export often undergoes strict safety checks, yet food consumed locally does not always receive the same level of attention? Going forward, we must learn to look beyond price, taste, and appearance when choosing food. Affordable food is important, but it is not enough if the food is unsafe. As consumers, we should care about how our food is grown, stored, handled, and prepared. Food agency means making safety part of every food decision. Food can look fresh, taste good, and even be nutritious, yet still cause illness if it contains harmful toxins, residues, or contaminants. Let us ask questions, observe good agricultural and food handling practices, and support farmers and sellers who maintain safe standards. Good food should not only satisfy hunger—it should also protect health. #FoodJustice #ChakulaNiHaki #FoodSafety #ConsumerPower #SafeFood #RightToFood #KnowYourFood #HealthyChoices @aphrc @Concern

You Keep Buying, They Keep Dying 💔 As long as there is demand, the cycle continues. Every purchase supports an industry. Every choice sends a message. When we keep buying products that come from animal exploitation, the system keeps producing and animals keep suffering and dying. But the moment we choose differently, the cycle begins to change. You keep buying, they keep dying. You stop buying, the cycle starts breaking. 🌱 #ConsumerPower #ChooseCompassion #EndAnimalExploitation #GoVegan
