I got a follow back from
@EmblemVault’s dev 🥹
I feel on top of the world now 😌
Anyway, adding more to the vault/NFT details (
x.com/i/status/2049588641698…).
From what I understand, the NFT acts as a vault, containing assets across different chains, and represents ownership over them.
So whoever holds this NFT controls the vault and everything inside it ✅️
The actual access (private keys) isn’t visible upfront... it only gets revealed when you crack/unvault the NFT.
So, these NFTs can be sold on marketplaces like Opensea, and once the seller transfers it, they lose control of the vault.
Only the buyer now controls it… and can decide whether to keep it sealed or unvault it.
Another important detail 👀
You can verify what’s inside a vault before buying.
The contents are visible through Emblem’s interface and linked addresses… so you’re not buying blind.

But of course... you still have to make sure it’s from the official collection and hasn’t already been unvaulted.
If a vault NFT is not cracked, you’ll see an option to “Unvault”.
But if a vault has already been opened, it’ll be labeled “Unvaulted/Cracked”... meaning the creator have access to the content.
All these are just short speculations based on my smol research... I think this coming week, I'll have to actually create a vault to fully understand how it works I'm essence.
Like I said, I find the NFT space complicated 😩
