The Motorica Masters Animation Challenge is back! 🏆
Applications are now open!
If you work in Unreal Engine as an Animator, Gameplay Developer, or Tech Animator and want to showcase your skills, this is a great opportunity to build something awesome while competing for the $3,000 prize pool.
The challenge: create a living world in Unreal Engine by populating a city with NPCs that feel distinct, believable, and full of personality through their behaviors and motion.
You’ll get a city scene, NPC meshes, a flying camera, and starter animations, then use Motorica’s tools to design 3–5 unique behavioral archetypes and bring the crowd to life.
There’s a lot of room here for both technical polish and creative presentation, as well as a chance to explore new animation workflows and crowd systems.
