1/ 🚨 Stuck firefighting why "revenue" means 5 different things to 5 teams?
→ Dashboards break.
→ Queries conflict.
→ Trust evaporates.
You need a semantic layer.
A single source of truth for metrics. No more chaos.

Great hearing @paveltiunov87 talk yesterday at #prestocon on Headless BI. @cubejs hands down has some of the best #DevRel in open source, and it was great to use the tool for the first time when I was working for @schoolytics - be sure to check out both companies!
We had a fantastic time partnering with @cloudacademy on a user story and blog about how they use @Cubejs. Check out their blog detailing the deployment and our post to see the fantastic results they achieved!

Day 4
Little late on the update. Firestore to BigQuery data export has taken up almost 1 full day. Got it working though.
▢ Get CubeJs to work with BigQuery
▢ Test out some data visualisation using CubeJs
Cubejs as a metrics store is such a great idea - when carefully used. Let's try to find 5 potential logic bugs in the example (all of them I make all the time).
Now, use Cube as a metrics store for any data consumer: announcing the Cube SQL API. Connect your favorite BI tool directly to Cube and let Cube generate queries to fetch and display data. buff.ly/3nsObV1
