We indeed met last year, placed a #Memento sticker on @dietrich's already over crowded laptop, shared a taxi together, and had some great conversations on various topics. Read the story of the #DWebSummit and associated events on our @WebSciDL blog.

If you’re going to #DwebCamp, or are curious about it, join us at our Open Dialogue call tomorrow, Wed May 15 6pm PT/9pm ET: meet.jit.si/dwebcamp

Each night before bed I try to watch a short documentary, a TED talk, or video(s) from a conference I may have missed in 2018. Recently I'm watching videos from the Decentralized Web Summit #DWebSummitdecentralizedweb.net/videos/
During the #DWebSummit I also discussed the possibility of adding #Memento support in #Dat, but it turned out that their storage engine is using numeric versions in a way in which DateTime-based negotiation would not be efficient with its current architecture (subject to change).
I'll be speaking at @BKCHarvard next wk about ethical dilemmas in decentralized protocol design & how information asymmetries shape normative practices online takeaways from @internetarchive#DWebSummit.
