Vana and ORO are solving the same problem with fundamentally different architectural assumptions. That difference matters more than most people realize. Vana's DataDAO model puts data governance in the hands of contributor communities. Users pool their data into DAOs, the DAO collectively decides who gets access and at what price, smart contracts enforce the terms. It's a decentralized ownership model where the contributor community holds the keys. Elegant in theory, messy in practice.
