Attending Consensus Miami 2026? 🌴 @annakaz is demoing Context Gateway, showing how users can bring their memory and cross-platform data into new apps. Portable context means users don’t have to rebuild who they are every time they try a new app. See what AI can do when it actually has the context it needs. 📅 May 7 · 10:00 AM ET · Workshop Stage

Context is everything. The latest episode of @The_Peoples_AI makes the case for why AI needs better context, and how data portability gets us there.
If the model doesn’t see it… it’s going to make the wrong call Dr. Matthew DeCamp on why incomplete data leads to bad outcomes 🎧 New episode now live, presented by @vana 🔗 linktr.ee/thepeoplesai

If AI is so powerful, then why does it still feel like it doesn't really know you? The context it needs lives across different apps, and it doesn’t move with you. That’s the real bottleneck. The new State of Context report with @open_data_labs explores how each of the top AI models run into this issue.

The newest season of @The_Peoples_AI focuses on why data access and portability matter more than most people realize. Not just in healthcare, but everywhere your data lives. Worth a listen 🎧
She found an error in her own medical record And it shouldn’t have been missed @TheLizArmy's report said she was right-handed She’s ambidextrous That detail matters Doctors see thousands of charts Patients see one Featuring @TheLizArmy @jstclair1 With insights from Dr. Reinhard Laubenbacher and Dr. Matthew DeCamp This episode breaks down data access, patient visibility, and why it matters more as AI enters healthcare 🎧 New episode now live, presented by @vana 🔗 linktr.ee/thepeoplesai Listen on Apple, Spotify, and YouTube ↓

The walled garden cannot stand in the age of AI
OpenClaw is act one of consumers building automations on their own data And as agents spread to the mainstream, I predict there is going to be backlash re: how hard Apple makes it to access data via API Ex. Why can’t I reliably pull my own ScreenTime info? 🤔

With Claude mythos exposing security vulnerabilities, seeing a lot of conversation around owning your data and storing it locally.
Delete your search history, delete your bookmarks, delete your reddit, medical records, 12 yr old tumblr, delete everything. Every photo on the cloud, every message on every platform. None of it is safe. It will all become public in the next year Local storage and compute 📈

Oura data is now an available data source in DataConnect. All your Oura data can live locally on your computer. That means your sleep, activity, readiness, and recovery data is no longer limited to the Oura app. You can use it on its own or alongside other data sources to create apps and experiences that feel more personal and useful.

Data Apps have landed in DataConnect. Apps built on the Vana Connect SDK can now be discovered in the feed. Try what’s live and see what becomes possible when apps can pull in data from the services you use instead of starting from zero. More apps are being curated for the feed. Anyone can submit their own to be featured.

Having to ask a corporation permission to access your own data is a completely outdated model. Vana Co-Founder @artieart88 joined @The_Peoples_AI to discuss how to move past this data bottleneck and build the infrastructure for true data portability. Hear more from the conversation in the full episode 🎙️
Your heart rate. Your sleep. Your biometrics. But can you actually move that data where you want? Art Abal explains the data portability gap on The People’s AI, presented by @vana, with @jeffwilser. linktr.ee/thepeoplesai Platform links in the comments.

We built a private backend where your files, context, and compute are portable and local. Give it to agents, build new apps with it. Here's how to use @vana Data Connect for importing and serving your personal data: 1. exports your personal data (ChatGPT, LinkedIn, Spotify, GitHub, etc) without sending your credentials anywhere 2. then turn on your Personal Server to provision your personal data to apps 1. Install Data Connect and import personal data

Building apps that bring in your own data is now entirely accessible. Staring with this example, @volodisai uses the Vana Connect template and one prompt to generate a personal ChatGPT timeline. Claude Code takes care of the architecture and debugging. A quick manual registration securely routes the data into the app. Data should work for the people who create it. The infrastructure is finally here.

How data portability works on @vana: - you control your data with your keys - full audit trail of access, whether from agents or apps - fast! ~50ms to permission data
🧵 We designed a protocol that lets users port their private data across applications with cryptographic access control and onchain audit trails. Here's how the Data Portability Protocol works. (thread)

I told my @OpenClaw agent to pull my ChatGPT history in and realized it's probably the most intimate portrait of me that exists anywhere. Not surprised, considering it's thousands of conversations with a judgement-free non-human...
